The upcoming edition of Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), India’s flagship tourism and hospitality business platform, will be held in Kochi from September 24 to 27, 2026.
The inauguration of the event will take place at Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, while the core business-to-business (B2B) meetings will be hosted at the Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centre on Willingdon Island.
Kerala Tourism Minister P. A. Mohamed Riyas said the event would bring together tourism stakeholders from across India and overseas, offering a structured and result-oriented platform for interaction between buyers and sellers. He highlighted the critical role played by tour operators, travel agents, and allied service providers in strengthening Kerala’s tourism ecosystem, noting that Kerala Travel Mart has consistently served as a key window to showcase the State’s diverse and evolving tourism offerings to global markets.
The four-day event will feature a comprehensive programme including curated B2B meetings, policy-level discussions, and sector-focused seminars. Industry leaders, tourism experts, policymakers, and decision-makers from across the globe are expected to participate. The Kerala Travel Mart Society is working to strengthen engagement from both traditional and emerging source markets, while ensuring wider representation across segments such as leisure tourism, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions), wellness tourism, and destination weddings.
As part of the announcement, the official promotional video for KTM 2026 was released, and the revamped website of the Kerala Travel Mart Society was unveiled by Kerala Tourism Secretary Biju K. The new website features enhanced navigation, improved buyer-seller matching tools, and updated information services to support participants.
KTM Society President Jose Pradeep said the event will be backed by a fully digitised operational framework. “All key processes — including registrations, scheduling of business meetings, and access to knowledge sessions — will be managed through digital platforms. A dedicated mobile application will also be introduced to provide real-time support and updates to participants during the event,” he said.
Buyer registration for Kerala Travel Mart 2026 is expected to open shortly, with international and domestic buyers encouraged to register early to secure participation in the highly sought-after B2B meetings.
In addition to the main event, post-mart tours covering various tourism circuits and experiences across Kerala are planned, offering buyers firsthand exposure to the State’s tourism products. Familiarisation (FAM) programmes for invited national and international media representatives will also be organised ahead of the event to enhance global visibility.
With a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, sustainability, and global outreach, Kerala Travel Mart 2026 aims to further consolidate Kerala’s position as a premier tourism destination and a leading trade hub in the global tourism industry.
