Kerala Travel Mart 2024, the twelfth edition of India’s largest destination-specific tourism event, was held from September 26 to 29, 2024, at the Samudrika Convention Centre in Kochi. This edition marked a record-breaking milestone in the history of KTM, with over 2,800 registered buyers from 76 countries, including 808 international delegates. The Mart featured more than 350 Kerala-based exhibitors, offering a wide range of tourism experiences—from luxury resorts and houseboats to Ayurveda wellness, eco-lodges, and heritage stays. With over 75,000 B2B meetings conducted, KTM 2024 surpassed all previous editions in scale and impact.
A major highlight of KTM 2024 was the strong promotion of wedding tourism, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), and responsible travel. The Kerala Travel Mart Society also introduced an Incubation and Innovation Centre aimed at nurturing new tourism entrepreneurs and startups. The event continued to champion Kerala’s sustainable tourism model, while expanding its reach into emerging global markets. KTM 2024 reaffirmed the state’s position as one of the most forward-thinking, diverse, and community-driven tourism destinations in the world.
